SMA Summer Camp 2026
Who is this for?
This camp is specifically designed for high-performing junior, Intermediate and Advanced students who are passionate about building their mathematical foundation to be able to participate and ace the Nigerian mathematics olympiad.
Selection criteria:
The 2026 Special Maths Academy (SMA) Summer Camp will be fully sponsored to ensure that financial constraints do not prevent talented students from participating, particularly those from underserved communities. This initiative is made possible in recognition of the outstanding milestones recently achieved by SMA students at the Pan African Mathematics Olympiad (PAMO). Selection into the Summer Camp will be based strictly on performance in the SMA Placement Test and other assessments conducted by the SMA Team. Final selection rests solely with the SMA Team.
Registration Process:

- Registration is open until July 24, 2026.
- All registered students will receive the placement test on July 25, 2026. Completed tests must be submitted by July 26, 2026.
- Placement test results will be released on or before July 28, 2026. Students will be informed of the level at which they will participate in the summer camp.
- Students who have successfully completed the placement test will receive an invitation to Google Classroom and details for the Opening Ceremony on or before August 2, 2026.
- The Special Maths Academy Summer Camp officially begins on August 3, 2026, with the Opening Ceremony taking place on the same day.
